Highlights include the Universal Viewer, AIP generation for large files, RDM versioning and DataCite sync, the batch uploader, submission dashboards, MARC/circulation data, and file management after deletion. Beside bug fixes, this release also brings a configurable audio/video player (no longer auto-pausing when scrolled out of view), improved Citation Tool accessibility for screen reader users, and fixes to audio transcription and subtitle format support. The 29.3.0 release schedule is as follows: > Release 29.3.0 Sandbox & Early Release Instances - July 22, 2026 (Early morning) - North America - July 22, 2026 [Evening] - Europe / Asia / ANZ > Release 29.3.0 to all TIND instances  - August 11, 2026 (Early morning) - North America - August 11, 2026 [Evening] - Europe / Asia / ANZ --- ## Changes, improvements and fixes  - PDF Viewer Performance [*DA]:* Improved an issue where multi-page PDF files containing large images could load very slowly, only partially, or not at all in the viewer. - AIP Generation* [RDM]*: Improved network error handling that could prevent Archival Information Packages (AIPs) from being generated for very large files, making large-file AIP generation more resilient to transient connection issues. - Dataset Versioning *[RDM]*: Fixed an issue where metadata changes were not reflected in the corresponding DataCite DOI record. DOI metadata now stays in sync when records are updated via versioning - Batch Uploader *[DA, ILS, IR, RDM]*: Fixed an issue where the batch uploader could return a Gateway Timeout error for CSV files, improving reliability of large batch imports. - *Submission Dashboards - Drafts [IR, RDM]*: Fixed an issue where, for a user's very first saved (but not yet submitted) submission, the "Drafts" tab on their Submission Dashboard could take anywhere from several minutes to a full day to appear. It now appears promptly. - Record Deletion* [ILS]*: Fixed an issue where records marked for deletion with a trailing space in the deletion indicator could get stuck in the orphaned records list instead of being properly removed. - Brief View - Call Numbers* [ILS]*: Fixed an issue where the call number failed to display in Brief View whenever the underlying MARC field included a linking subfield. - MARCXML Export *[DA, ILS, IR]*: Fixed an inconsistency where certain MARC fields could unpredictably be missing from a record's MARCXML export, even when configured to be visible to authorized users. Exports now consistently reflect field visibility settings. - Circulation - Barcodes *[ILS]*: Fix for items whose barcodes end with a plus sign, addressing cases where such barcodes were handled incorrectly during renewal and other circulation actions. - File Management* [IR, RDM, DA]**:* Fixed an issue where files removed from a record via "Delete all versions" could remain visibly linked on the record page (shown with a "DELETED" label) for a period of time after deletion - Audio/Video Player *[RDM, DA]*: Previously, the audio and video players automatically paused whenever the player scrolled out of view or the browser tab lost focus.
